Returns

Returned items can be exchanged for another item of equal or greater value at Cheng Huat Hardware (Gombak) Sdn Bhd’s retail location.

We require that all products being returned or exchanged in stores be clearly identified.

Return of Non-Faulty Goods:

  • Items that are returned must be unused and in their original packaging.
  • Tax invoices and receipts must be valid and unaltered.
  • All refunds will be made in the original amount. Credit card refunds must be reimbursed to the credit card used to make the purchase.

Return Policy Exceptions:

On the following items, we are unable to provide refunds or exchanges:

  • Cement or cementitious products
  • Steel bars or industrial metal products for construction
  • Wood and similar products
  • Specified shelf-stable products
  • Special order or custom-made items
  • Any item(s) custom cut to size per your desire
  • Colored paint (if you change your mind on the color)


Please be informed that certain goods/products are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable owing to their product composition, usage instructions, shelf life, expiration date, and other characteristics. Depending on the nature of the item, its characteristics may change.

Faulty or damaged goods under warranties

Cheng Huat Hardware (Gombak) Sdn Bhd reserves the right to refuse acceptance of faulty products due to human damage or natural disasters. We will attempt to send the products for warranty to the supplier in the event that they are within the warranty period, but acceptance still depends on the supplier’s discretion.

We advise you to keep your receipt, as we may require proof. We will inform you if a refund, exchange, repair, or replacement is available.
