Description

A PVC stopcock is a valve used to control the flow of liquids or gases in a piping system. Made from durable polyvinyl chloride (PVC), it is commonly used in plumbing, irrigation, and industrial applications due to its resistance to corrosion and chemicals. The stopcock has a lever or handle that allows you to easily open, close, or regulate the flow through the valve.

To install a PVC stopcock, it is typically glued or threaded into place within a PVC pipe system. Once installed, turning the handle adjusts the internal mechanism, which either allows fluid to pass through or stops it completely. This makes it an essential component for tasks like shutting off water supply lines for repairs, controlling water flow in irrigation systems, or managing the distribution of chemicals in industrial processes.

PVC stopcocks are favored for their durability, ease of installation, and low maintenance requirements. They are available in various sizes to fit different pipe diameters, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of systems.
